How to avoid any nightmare when taking your ipad to local repair shops?
Last summer my nephew dropped my iPad on the tiled porch floor. Poor thing instantly shattered into million pieces and the screen needed to be replaced. At the time of purchase my cheap ass didn’t bother to get Applecare+ and now the iPad was out of warranty. We all know how expensive a screen repair can be when your device is out of warranty. Many people resort to local IPad repairs in New York City to avoid paying hundreds of dollars in repair to official store. I took my device to a local repair store as well. As I mentioned my iPad just needed screen replacement. I went in dropped the device the person on the counter told me to come pick it after a couple of hours which was fine by me as I had to run some errands. when I went back to store to pick the device back, something was strange.
